Congratulations to our summer research intern Leonora van Deurs on receiving second place at the best poster award within the Mathematical Sciences Research Expo 2025 at the University of Nottingham. Her work with us (supervised by prof. Silke Weinfurtner, Dr. Cameron R. D. Bunney and Maciej T. Jarema) explored how fast information can spread between coupled quantum systems, finding effective light-cones in non-relativistic theories and their logarithmic corrections when interactions become long ranged!
